• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

One of my old boat racing friends runs Joe Gibbs Nationwide program and I found out this week Bubba is now with Gibbs in SX and MX and also nascar driver development program.
I am sure he is not liking the way Villipoto, Dungey, Reed, and Canard have stepped it up and he is looking toward the future.

Nascar is the key word in that statement.... js7 can't beat RV2 over an entire season in mx (when has he rode mx last? 1 race 2 yrs ago when RD5 hand whipped him and js7 quit in the second moto ) or sx I'd guess without 100% commitment to the racing ... He's not up to the commitment and should have a few more spectacular crashes for the fans ... Maybe he can continue to survive them?

Lets hope he does not stink up the great racing of the young PRO guys are are on board now ... Let him move on to cars or trucks or what ever...

stewart if nothing else draws people and im pretty sure thats what jgr is thinking. like with alot of other racing events....pastrana in the rally car? im pretty sure there are quite a few guys that are wayyy better than him driving one but they wont get the people to come out and see em. nascar is on the downfall i was a huge fan until about a year or so after dale died then it just started to get too damn commercial and lost alot of its base fans etc..anyway like i said i think jgr is getting him as a draw more so than his skills. if he just concentrated on the bikes i think hed be fine but all the tv and stuff has him spaced

James Stewarts head is to big for a bike, car, or truck. I think Mr. Gibbs likes bad boys and like whiterocket said they put fans in the seats. Fans in the seats = money in his pocket.

Gibbs has had success in everything they have done, they don't like being a minor player in SX-MX, and they see Stewart as a way to change that. Also I think Bubba liked the bikes when it was easy for him, now he has competition and he may be tired of getting his bell rung.

JS7's first test in a nationwide car was a success but says he has some unfinished business in MX first. We know he is fast, we will wait and see how focused he is.

I believe JS might still have a championship in him. He lost focus but obviously has the speed. Like Reed, he just needs to refocus. Most these guys are head cases at this level. I wish him well.
