  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Mine has been sent out for some time. I hope to get it back for the xmas trip to croom. :cheers:

If not, I'll just have to ride the TC450 then.

Mine has been out since about Nov 4. doubt I will get it back in time to ride it before everything freezes up. I'm going to call monday to see whats up. I've got this sunday and maybe next sunday if I'm lucky for riding, things will probably freeze up after that...
 
Yikes I don't know where I heard/read two weeks but I guess I am wrong so I had better plan on when to send mine in. Thanks for the feedback skid.

Mine is out since the first week of nov. also.

Since I have a second bike I'm not in a hurry.
 
I 've got a second, third, and fourth, bike I can ride but unless I take my son's TC250 back I perfer my little 125. I am going to give EG a call this week and see if things move faster in Feb. or March.
 
Eric told me winter was his busiest time as that when everyone sends in their stuff.

Hey Norm any idea what that 144 kit is going to run??

No word yet.... I had Fran Bottone punch the part number into the US parts system and it's not a valid number at this time.
 
Thanks for the answer Norman. I think I am going to order one and use it while my EG is getting done. Then I''ll always have a spare 144!
 
Saw a pic of the fac 144 kit....piston, head, cylinder (bare) and gaskets. Odd no PV. I cannot believe the stocker drops in and has clearance with the bigger bore.

I got a clarification and PV's are included in the Factory 144 kit.

Makes it that much more "KA-Ching"! Maybe that is where all the recalled 09 125 PV's went. LOL!
 
This is sounding better all the time....well at least until we get the price. Hey guys please post up the price when you get.
