• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Is this a joke?

posted in the other thread but... here's my quick edit... 630 front plate and fender, some ass trimming, new seat cover and one decal :D

nothing revolutionary design-wise but that thing needed some love.

i dont get it either. why not go total undertail exhaust like an SXV/RXV... but different. nothing sexier than a super trim tail on a bike without ANY pipes showing.

Please stop making excuses. It´s otiose, ugly, futile and ignorant. Anyone taking it to any track, internationally would create an immediate and massive roar of laughter. If they are prepared to show this at EICMA, they are equally likely to kill babies and murder their aged parents.

I liked the trimmed versions much better. My first thought on the original was 'is that the battery pack?' I thought they were making an electric sumo, until I looked closer.

Haha. Big +1 to that. I thought electric at first look too and then was like...yuck!
Keep trimming...lol

It looks unfinished...

Someone pimp it out with photoshop please

Although they say scooters are like a "big girl". Fun to ride until your buddies see you on one...
I would ride a Vespa. An old one tho not new one. Anyone ever seen the Top Gear Vietnam Special? Classic!

They just need some offroad tires :).
You all wouldn't mind if I slap a Husky logo on it would you? Everyone else does it lol

I figures this silly stuff was lift in Italy.

I think they need to hire typeone to finish out their bikes. I like his stuff better than theirs.

you can paint a turd gold, it's still a turd. Whoever designed this bike must be a bean counter and not a true rider. That is one Ugly, you ain't got no alibi, you UGLY hey hey you UGLY bike.
