    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

So I am new to this bike and husky's. I just adjusted the valves and am concerned it's so noisy because I screwed up the valve adjustment. I also redid the power up kit as it was running like garbage and had a blinking nuetral light. It seems to me the bike clacks really loud at lower RPMS but maybe that is just how

It's hard to tell from a recording but it sounds loud.
How many miles on the cam chain? When they are worn they get noisy
If it were mine and it sounded that loud in person, I would look at the oil screens and filter for metal and not ride it till I found out what is wrong.
 
Doesn't sound right. The 610 is noisy, especially on the left side, but its a fairly regular noise - this video is pretty close to what mine sounds like:

Your bike sounds irregular, like there is something loose or the cam chain needs adjusting/replacement - I agree with Xcuvator, do more investigating before you do any major riding.
 
Sounds to me like the idle is pretty low. When you have it so low the bike barely runs, the engine will make more clunking noises. Set the idle up to the proper rpm when warm and then see how she sounds.
 
It's not normal. When it works normal, it works sweet, like all bikes.

That sounds like mine huskys noise before it fucked up lots of stuff in head, including exhaust rocker arm, roller and camshaft.
500 painful euros damage.
Check the cam chain and/or change it before it is too late.

On a certain Italian forum, some users wrote that when your cam chain is too stretched and the tensioner is not able to keep it taut anymore, you start to hear it hitting the reed valve.
 
A mates 610 sounded like this and we went to adjust the valves but they where crazy loose and there was not enough adjustment left .. He still hasnt fixed it but his rocker arm was stuffed ... I would double check you adjustment again...

May be the valves adjustment is not right? Once, when I adjusted the valves in a CAGIVA TE 350 E, I made it wrong and sounded like your TE610. Then I realized that something was wrong, I made the adjust again and the sound was good.

Your bike is idling so low that the automatic decompressor is trying to activate.

As said above multiple times, set the idle up to its proper speed.

The bike in the video has a similar issue, the decompressor activator spring is too tight, keeping the decompressor activated for too long. Notice how the clanking goes away when sped up then returns at low revs.
 
Your bike is idling so low that the automatic decompressor is trying to activate.

That makes sense to me.
Considering that adjusting the idle is a quick and inexpensive work, I would give it a try if I was in their shoes.
