• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Was reading the Motocross Action web sit and came across this:
"If it doesn’t happen at the races, or in the corporate offices, MXA testing can also be performed thousands of miles away from home…say in Italy perhaps were John Minert recently went to test ride the new 2009 Husqvarna MX bikes (look for Minert's Husky report next week)."

I guess I'll post the results next week. Finally some press in a MX magazine ( although On-Line ).

A very very warm welcome Federica. :)

I hope you visit often, and if anyone else at Husqvarna or BMW wants to join they would be most welcome.

Yes, PLEASE! Join up and help your company by helping us. Somebody from HVA NA (Husqvarna North America) would be really great.

You can start by telling us what the story is on the Contingency program here in the states.

I raced my TE510 this weekend and it got a lot of attention, big hit with fans and even the other racers. Everybody thought it was really cool and wanted to know all about it. But, it didn't look good when the fuel pump popped out of it's holder and it went DOA on the course.

No Trail Rider Magazine? Paul Clipper and TR has been at every US press intro(Italy or US) for 20 years and given Husky more good press than all the others combined. I was just reading the TR stories on '91 and '92 press intro's(Who says you can't live in the past!). I hope Clipper was there!
