  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have a dilemma!! I bought my 2010 WR125 a yr to early

Can someone please hook me up with a 144kit. I've been moving over earth now with ease for four 4 seasons now with my 125, and do not have 1200$ to get a 144 kit.

It seems the developement of the 144 kit in the box with the 2011 model was a stiff kick to the crotch to us who purchased the same bike for the same price in 2010 with so much less. Aghhhh. I need some assistance Husqvarna****************************************

Yours truly, Tommy

PS if there is someone out there with their 144 kit not installed in their bike and would like someone to take it off their hands...I'm that person

Shipping/handling isn't bad on the 165. Think it actually comes from kelly/motosportz right outta washington.

I've got parts quicker from him than I have from gnarly motorsports in chilliwack. Having ridden a wr 144, and my 165 side by side I really love the 165.

The 144 is softer on the bottom like a 125 and is a decent bump in power all around. The 165 however is a monster in comparison, torque right off the bottom to pulling the front wheel up screamer. Hairy situations where the 125/144 would wallow along the 165 powers through.
