    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I have a 08 TXC 510 (first one sent out to the west coast actually) that I have been racing for a few years. I have the PG graphics (that Halls sells) on them and they arent the best to say the least. It's been less then one season with them on and my braces have worn through them and after last weeks crash they are trashed. The perferated idea might help with installing them but they rip apart because of it and just sont hhave the longevity.. Is there any other decal maker out there that fits the 08-10 model IMS tanks, thanks guys I've been lurking around here for years now and would appreciate your thoughts and ideas
 
The problem with trying to put decals directly on the gas tank, instead of on shrouds that cover the tank, is that all of the plastic tanks "gas". The gas fumes will leach through the tank and either lift the decals or cause them to migrate, or both because the adhesive is compromised by the chemicals from the fuel in the tank. There is only 1 way to possibly avoid this, by draining your fuel after each ride, not a very good option. The holes or perferations that you speak of were probally in the decals to help with "the gassing effect on the decals", in addition to making them easier to install. To answer your question after a long winded explaination, yes there are some others out there mostly local shops that have their own decals made up from time to time for their sponsored riders bikes and some will sell them. If they know you are looking for them when they order theirs, they will order some extras. I have to say that more than likely, you will encounter the same problems with those as you had with your current set though. just saying from my experience
