• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

IMS revised tank for 2009-2011 125/150, 2010 TC250 [carbed only!]

Pro Class
Got the revised tank last night.

Tossed it on real quick one time, then grabbed the seat, bam.
The seat sits flush with the sub-frame rails. No more arching up. Used one hand. No more cussing!

There's more clearance around the radiators and hoses.

All the plastic lined up.

I placed a few alluminum drain washers, about 5-6mm worth, under the front mount post rubber washer and it sits there w/o rocking, pads touch nicely at the rear for the subframe. Even full of fuel it should not hit the tangs for the seat etc.

I picked up some turning radius too, not a lot but, some more. I might heat it up with a gun and get more. IMS will give you the correct process over the phone should you decide to try this.

Gotta say it's a vast improvement over the first mold. I aint checked for volume but I'm sure it's on or about the mark.

The FI revised version will be out soon.

Thanks to Steve and Jack at IMS! Thanks boys!!!:thumbsup:

That sounds great. Do you know if IMS will do anything for those of us who have an old one that makes putting the seat on a real chore?

Give the boys a call, I pitched a fit about the fit, plus my top clamp hit the left side so....give them a shout! Seat went right on, air filter might stay cleaner too as there's no more huge gap between the seat and sub-frame rails like it used to be.
