• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Im still riding Red, just not Husky

Husqvarna
AA Class
I wanted a new Husky but the 2 stroke line has been dead in its development. Couldn't see buying a new WR 300 to replace my 09 when its the same bike. I found a sweet 2011 GasGas 300 with 8 hours on it. Bike is set up sweet!! Enduro Engineering suspension already set up for weight, FMF pipe, Akropovich Silencer, skid plate, TM chain guard and more. I am still keeping my TXC 300 so I'll still have a Husky in the stall. When Husky comes out with a new 2 stroke I'll be first in line to get one. Until then I'll be riding GasGas!!

Nice looking bike.

- If you need anything help or have any questions about the bike Richard at House or Horsepower seems to know everything about these bikes. The GG factory team spent a few days with him and learned a few things!!!

TRADER************************************************************************************************************************! Dude what about a 150????????? Just kidding. I have had many fights with myself about riding a NEW Gasser. They are the best looking bike................ However not quite as refined as a Husky I believe. Still a great bike. I will more then likely buy another 150 for next year, or a 200 Gas Gas 6-day. Hope it treats you good. Be loyal to it. I had a spanish girlfriend for 2 years and one time I.......................... and then I had to sleep with one eye open for the rest of our relationship!!! (Not a joke!)

I was at my local Husky dealer last week having them check a couple things on my TE.........they are also our GasGas dealer, and had a new EC300 on the floor. That bike caught my attention. Very nice looking and well equiped bike
My right knee greatly appreciate electric start now days, and I have always liked the idea of an electric start two-stroke.
I've never been comfortable with KTM handling/feel, so it was nice to see another two-stroke electric start option. Though not sold as a street legal bike, I did noticed this bike even had turn signal switch on it......thoughts of the GasGas with a street plate on it flashed thru my mind (probably not that hard to do in Idaho)

Hard for me to justify a new bike right now, let alone two bikes, but if Husky got on board with electric start on the WR300, I'd be very tempted to go back to two-strokes again. Especially if I could get a plate on it for the tiny bit of street riding I do.

I'm regretting selling my EC 300... big time! Although the CR 150 has been scratching my 2 stroke itch quite nicely.

Well, its prettier than the Husky. Thats all I can tell ya right now. I can't ride it for another 3 weeks due to a broken wrist!!

Congrats! I have the 2010 GG 300 and they are awesome bikes. Hope you heal up quick so you can enjoy that beauty.
