Walt started most of it, several of us got involved and now we have the bike we want. the CafeHusky community rules.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Put an hour or so on my WB165 and it is amazing, even with the fmf fatty and jetted rich. I say go for it you will like it.
My WR/WB165 at the Curly Fern Enduro....

With the '09' frame and layout said to be superior to even an '08, do you feel like you are giving up very much with an '04? If you get the forks working better, how much difference do you think? Not sure exacly how this happened but I now own my 3rd 04 CR125. Ordered up all white plastic, looking for blue graphics. Suspension will go to Richard at House of Horsepower for his magic, Seat to seat concets for thier magic, cylinder to Walt for his 165 majic and i should end up with the nicest 04 everAlsways loved the 2000-2004 narrow bikes with low fuel tank but always hated the forks on those. This one is going to get slowly decked out. All that it can be.
will get Motoz Terrapactors front and rear and the Doma pipe before it's initial feel me out ride and tear down.

Walt, I'm kind of liking this look.....Norman,
I am going to send you a red/white Hamilton Bronc jersey and a hashed old Montana license plate so you can really bling the ride at your next enduro.

What size? I'll see what I have.... Joe got a second in his class at Curly Fern on the 144, so maybe he doesn't need that extra 21cc's of "Old Man Help" yet!I thought you would like something like that. Trade you for a Northeast Husky gathering tee shirt. Joe keeps promising but he can't pull the trigger on that or the 165. I figure when you roost him a few times this spring he will get with the program.![]()

Lindsay repaired and brought my P3 tank back to me at Curly Fern. He said pipe guards were ready, so you should get a call soon.
