  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc I Rode The Prototype Wr200 And It Is Amazing...

I like hearing this!! I hope someone does buy it so you can get back on a Husky!!! Just curious, and nasty single track in the Danial boone state forest??? I built a house overlooking cave run lake. Gotta be some bad:censored: single track around, huh???

Not a whole lot in Daniel Boone....but head west and they is a ton....Big Rock in Maysville 2000 acres will test you...
we have some places on I 71 between cincy and louisville that are filled with single track...its called saddleback east....

Nice looking ride! What bars are you using ?

Trailtech "woods" bars. LOVE the bend and have them on all my bikes. Russ you and Joe need to come down and i'll show you the good stuff and you can try the WB165. You liked my 125/144, you will poop yourself when you sample this one.

If I ever get out that way and have my bike with me, I will have to look you up! Thanks!

I just put my WB165 kit in my new to me WR125 . I went out a kind of local track with some trails thrown in. This kit really runs good, I installed the kit with a Mikuni TMXX , Doma pipe and Leo vince silencer. Walt has done an amazing job with the kit it just strait up rips top to bottom. The most amazing part is running it with the WR ignition , it spools up so fast and has NO lag . It is really hard to believe that it runs as good as it does.

Nice Job Walt:cheers:

Thanks Tim! So how much do you want for the WR165(sans the propane tank)?

Doh!! I knew that!!

It's actually a CRF450 I believe... I saw the video one day and thought, Man, that dude is freaking dedicated. Shows what some people will do for their bikes... To bad his right strap broke!

God my eyes are worthless!! Need glasses!!! Saw the small pick and assumed it was a Husky and was yours!! Your right that guy is dedicated!!!

Is it better than a 250f ?

Geez, I had just settled myself as totally content with 2 Gasgas' in the garage, my EC250 (just like Kelly's), and a EC200.

Now I'm thinking I should pick up the local '04 CR125 I've spotted and go to tinkering!

BTW, Kelly if you would like to try our Gasgas EC200 to give a comparison, I could bring it on out to one of our local haunts and I could try the Husky. I wasn't able to make it to the demo with my son's B-Ball tourny.

Problem is it looks like this week's weather will put an end to our endless summer though:(

This is truly a venomous vid if you have 4 broken ribs (darn I am in pain) I do feel sorry for the guy but glad it was a Honda 4 stroke.:D
