As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
The nice thing about the TE it is a street legal bike you can turn into a racer much easier than you can make a TXC racer street legal.
Why? How much we're the springs?I actually prefer open cartridge forks for the type of riding I do. I called RaceTech, told them what bike I have, told them what I weigh, and they sent me the springs I needed. Get the race ECU as well, money well spent.Hey guys would a 12 port injector be beneficial for a 2010 TE and what else would be required -re mapping perhaps?

I understand there pretty much is no point changing the injector on our model. But a change in mapping helps heaps. I bought a JD tuner, it may improve total power a bit but the best part is tuning the power delivery. I wanted more tourque down low and mid and thats what I have.Hey guys would a 12 port injector be beneficial for a 2010 TE and what else would be required -re mapping perhaps?

what is a JD tuner, where do you buy one, how much do they cost, can you change the power delivery yourself with the tuner, and if so what sort of skills do you needI understand there pretty much is no point changing the injector on our model. Yes you can change power delivery with JD tuner! They are already set with basic settings for your model! I ordered mine online from a guy in Heidelberg Melbourne. found him online. $230.00,what is a JD tuner, where do you buy one, how much do they cost, can you change the power delivery yourself with the tuner, and if so what sort of skills do you need
i have 2012 TE310 and would definitely like more low and mid range
i have tried to get the bike shop to help but not getting what i want
My 310 is a non x-lite so is different to your 2012. I've read on here that the injector and ecu does help on your model. Also unless you know what your doing with the FI settings you might not have much luck mucking around with the Jd tuners settings. For the Jd tuner to work out of the box you should get your dealer to plug your TE into Ibeat (Husqvarna fuel injection/engine management interface) and have them set the "Co's" to 100, 100, 100.what is a JD tuner, where do you buy one, how much do they cost, can you change the power delivery yourself with the tuner, and if so what sort of skills do you need
