• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I got a Cafe Husky sticker today.

Heroes Ride Huskys. The others follow.
I made my first visit to Motoxotica in Vacaville, CA today. I noticed a Cafe Husky sticker on a 09 TE 510 in the showroom. I asked if if he had any more. Sure enough he did, and gave me one.

It's about a 2 hour drive for me, but it was no big deal. Dan had every Husky part I needed in stock. His knowledge and answers to all my Husky questions was excellent. Top notch all the way.

Welcome to the group!! Dan, and all of motoxotica definately know how to treat you right. I've got my cafehusky stickers shown all over the place. 450, snowboard, truck, local bar, you name it cafehusky is the place to be.

Yes I sent Dan stickers! He said he has been putting one on every bike he is selling! :applause:

I got some from Coffee in a t-shirt order. There are a few floating around in Springfield, IL.

Yes I sent a bunch out at Christmas time to several fine vendors.

Here is the deal with the stickers, actually they are some fairly stout vinyl graphics based on how they held up during the Baja ride. There were several made up because no matter how many (or few) were made up, the order was the same price. The stickers serve 2 purposes - a small fundraiser for cafe husky which is why if I mail them out I charge some $, but more importantly they serve as a promotional item i.e. swag. Keeping with the swag theme if I meet people in person, or if I send them something for any other reason (like sending out a T shirt) I usually hand them some stickers or include it in the package.

Hence the reason I sent out some to several fine vendors. I had no clue what they might have been used for. I know Dan at Motoxotica is putting one on each bike he gets

Good to know

Was not sure what was happening with the stickers up in the North west until this thread started.

Tell Jeff, Kelly, and Creepy I'll send some more out tomorrow and if they need to give away what they have for the Sunday demo ride - more will be coming soon.

Now where are their addresses...

They are in the mail

If any other vendor wants some let me know. The goal is to have people find out about Cafe Husky that are actually interested in Husqvarna bikes from vendors that have Husqvarna stuff.
