  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Hydraulic Clutch on 125

Has anyone here ever put a hydraulic clutch on their cr/wr 125? I know the clutches on these bike's are already light but why not make it that much lighter if it's possible?

Yes, I run one and love it.

does it make it any lighter Kelly or is it just the constant feel/self adjusting deal? not that you need it to be any lighter really but just curious. still prefer hydro feel over cable(at least on the 300), hate that notchy cable feel & lubing cables!

Yes somewhat lighter and has a great feel. I was apprehensive as I like simple (cable) but a friend kept raving about his and I had this here so I tossed it on. It is sweet. I trade off with a lot of guys and it feels a lot nicer than the cable. I run a 2 finger shortly lever and it is smooth and EZ.

I'm not 100% sure what kit this was and it took some slight mods to make it work. I bought it used (although was pretty much new) just because someone advertised it cheap and I have several bikes it would be nice on.

I run one as well as does my mate Trig, His came from a RM 250 - mine is just made from parts I have laying around
Trigs has a 9.5 master cylinder that makes the clutch really really easy on the operating finger while I opt for the 10.5 master cylinder as I have large hands so it makes the clutch action further from the bars when it dissengages the clutch, Still a one finger affair and the pull is around the same as the stock cable setup but I get a little more throw on the actuating arm in the cases so always starts in gear real easy.

Pretty sure that was the year and model I bought, they fit the clutch and brake perfectly
Got to be a little carefull as Ktm changed there clutch master cylinders throughout the years but if you look at all the other options they sell the link above is the correct type
