• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna Enduro Team by CH Racing squad members Juha Salminen, Alex Salvini and Lorenzo Santolino take to the start of the 87th FIM International Six Days Enduro on Monday, September 24th all focused on delivering the best results possible for their respective World Trophy teams.

Starting from Germany's Moto GP home, the Sachsenring, this year's event is set to see competitors compete over more than 1000km in and around the Saxony area of Germany. Returning to Germany for the first time in 23 years, the event, which has been held in Finland, Mexico and Portugal during the past three years, will welcome more than 500 competitors.

As a member of Finland's triumphant World Trophy team in 2011 Juha Salminen is well aware that a repeat team victory will be a challenge in Germany. Aiming for a winning result in the ultra-competitive Enduro 2 class, finishing ahead of World Trophy team favorites France will be anything but easy for the eight-time World Champion and his national team. Alex Salvini takes to the start of this year's ISDE as a member of the Italian World Trophy squad. Competing alongside Salminen on TE310R in the Enduro 2 class for Husqvarna, Salvini, who will get to compete on home soil in 2013 when the ISDE takes place in Sardinia, is aiming to lead Italy's six-rider team to a podium result.

Competing in the Enduro 1 class for the Spain's World Trophy team, Lorenzo Santolino will use the ISDE to bring his 2012 season to a positive close. Injured during the Enduro World Championship season, Lorenzo will compete as part of a strong Spanish team, who like the Italians will be battling hard for an all-important World Trophy team podium result.

Together Juha Salminen, Alex Salvini and Lorenzo Santolino will form the Husqvarna Team A in the manufacturer's category. In addition to Husqvarna's EWC regulars a number of additional Husqvarna mounted riders will represent their respective World Trophy and Junior World Trophy teams in Saxony. Experienced ISDE campaigner Glenn Kearney will compete for the Australia World Trophy team aboard a TE250R, while countryman Luka Bussa will race for the Australia Junior World Trophy Team, also in the Enduro 1 class, and American Andrew DeLong will race on TE310 for the USA World Trophy Team.

Host nation Germany has two Husqvarna mounted riders in their World Trophy team – Dennis Schröter and Christian Weib. Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Great Britain also have Husqvarna riders among their squads. In the Junior World Trophy team competition Jack Rowland will compete for Great Britain, as the squad aims to repeat their podium result achieved last year in Finland. The 87th running of the FIM International Six Days Enduro starts on Monday, September 24th and concludes on Saturday, September 29th.
