The rekluse should be released in the next two weeks..Not the 165 kit, I have one of them already LOL. I was asking about the Rekluse.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

I dont think the higher HP should be an issue. I have spoken about that with Rekluse and they do not see it as an issue. The clutch is actually very similar to the exp Rekluse does for the Honda CRF250R. Mine is a Wally Bean WB150 and it makes much much more power then a stock WR and I have no issues at all. Locks up well.+1 for the Rekluse! I have been hounding them non stop for a few months now. Last week I was told that it would probably be available by early February so it looks like they are on schedule. Chuck, do you know if theses are built specifically to withstand the extra HP and torque of the 165/167? I know that Rekluse has big bold red writing on their website that states their clutches are not for big bore kits. I would imagine that if your bike was a test mule then it would be good for any cc. Just curious.
Similar to Dyna Ring, but more adjustable..Rekluse has a "ring" type clutch kinda like the old dyna ring already available for the 125 basket...
Not sure if they are building a Rekluse Clutch Cover. I would highly doubt it though. Not enough WR's running around. We were lucky to get them to build a clutch for us!When will it be available? And is Rekluse building a clutch cover too?
I just bought the new digital ignition so it will be a while (next merry Christmas to me) before I can treat myself to the WB165 kit.
WB - have you run a 144 with the WB (KTM) pipe? I would be interested in how it ran. It would be great to buy the exhaust now and then the 165 kit later. And I take it the standard KTM pipe guards will fit.
Kelly - I would be interested in the kickstart lever if it has more clearance for the exhaust. Tired of it hitting the FMF.
what about fmf gnarly for the 200
When are the kits and pipes going to be ready for us consumers?
i must have missed something - what are the cylinders that are used - I thought they had to be an older style cylinder to go to 167. Are these converted from from newer clylinders. What yeaar models doe sthis deal apply to and does it apply to 125s? cheers
SWEET! Thanks Walt I appreciate the fast turn a round. Is K as quick at getting the rest of the kit together? This is funny... a friend of mine has had his bike in a local shop for a bushing in the PV on his 01 Honda 250. The bike has been in there for over two months! I told him my bike will be back together before his and I think it's gonna be true.
