• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi there

First time posting but here we go, Currently own a te511 in sm trim but have been wanting to get a pair of new rims for a while now. i really wanna cram in a 5 inch rim with a 160 tire on the back (i have a 4.25 rim with a 150 on at the moment)

Is it possible to fit with some clearance as i dont realy wanna have to deal with the chain chewing up the rear tire and if so are there any modifications i would have do to make this possible?

Your advice will be gratefully appreciated :)

Mine was a 2013 511 and it would not fit on mine 150 was the biggest. Even with the 150 it was super close. I ran warp nine and pilot powers

Thanks for the reply i will definitely bear it in mind for my final decision, if i do bite the bullet and get a 5 inch rim ill probably turn this into a collection of me trying different ways of getting it in there haha

Update: just placed my order for a set of alpina rims 5 inch rear and 3.5 up front, just gotta wait 6 weeks :(

Thats not a bad idea ill probably get one of those sliders as well, thanks for the advice

Oh wow thats pretty close, heres what mine is like at the moment.

I feel like the conti attack tires that i have on are slightly thinner?

have no idea why the pictures are sideways?

They were fun bikes for sure but pretty finicky and yes that fmf was way too loud lol. Imo use Mobil 1 0w-40 euro oil and change often like 500 miles. Air cleaner doesn't really get dirty too fast. If you take smog junk off and put pipe on it you'll need to do tps reset and map 3. Those mods really wake that bike up but can cause some lean issues. Enjoy!!

Hopefully gonna grab myself the akra full titanium exhaust some time in the near future combo that with a power commander and it should really come to life. I have had the bike for about two years now and put about 2000 miles on the clock and run the TC449 airbox cover with the extra holes luckily never had a problem with stalling or anything so far (fingers crossed it stays that way lol)

Alpina rims should be here in a couple weeks, Im also gonna order a motomaster 320mm disc and adaptor tomorrow along with a 160/60/17 conti attack sm tire.

Quick update........

Still waiting for these rims to arrive the anticipation is killing me!!! six week build time my ass lol.
