• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Strada is due by end of October. Crossing our fingers. I'm hoping it is on time so I can show it at the open house. Stop by. Tell your friends!

Jim did you just start selling the Huskys ?
We started getting the bikes in at the end of April.. first part of May. they are doing well. I love my race bike, and I always have one or two demo dual sports. We need to go check out the demos. I have a couple 2013 demo TE's on the way. my 2012 TE310 is great but the tires don't work (dirt) compared to the 2013. I haven't changes them because for the right guy they are good, buyt for 90% dirt the new ones are better. So I'll probably throw in a choice of tires when I sell the 2012, which should be as soon as my 2013 shows up. the 2012 has 253 miles as of yesterday so its fresh.

I am thinking about doing a TC449 sometime next year. And turn it into a TXC  Would be my first Husky. You like that bike ?

I love it. I'm racing MX, but in the 50+ Novice class on tracks that are mellow (except GH this weekend). I guess what I'm saying is that For me, an "off-road" bike set up for mx or trail depending on the weekend is what I like. The TC is just that. After this weekend, I'm installing my FMF Q4 with spark arrestor, Trail Tech meter and roll chart, different rear sprocket, and going off-roading in November. The dual map botton is cool to. It's on "hard" hit all the time on the mx track, but on the off road slippery stuff I'll switch it to "soft". And let me know when you get yours. I have the "race" settings for the TC/TXC that the factory guys use. I haven't set mine up like that yet though. PS. I just bought one of Cory Graffunder's WORCS 2012 TC449bikes from Husky. New Title, Low hours (22), factory rebuilt, gearing, fork height set-up, etc... I just put it on the line for $4999. Financeable.
