• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

HUSQVARNA & MARTIN climb on the Third step of the podium

I discovered this on the web and it is confusing me...

First, I guess it must not be very current information.
Second, we all know a Husky cannot compete in SX, at least not in the usa because Huskies are slow, weak on power, and over weight, right?
Third, nothing can run with JAP bikes, right? A ktm can get on the starting line with them but that is about all, correct?

This must be some outdated, watered down version of SX racing in EU where the JAP bikes are watered down also..correct? I'm just guessing there are JAP bikes in this race but I know nothing about it and I'll let you guys fill me in on the details. Maybe I been reading the wrong websites ...

The third Supercross European Series round took place in Bizkaya Arena in Bilbao, Spain. A huge amount of spectators arrived to watch the action with their own eyes as the event went sold-out.

French rider Christophe Martin arrived with his TC 450 confident and focused on victory, as he was the only Husqvarna rider to enter the event. His skills combined with the power of the TC 450 took him to 4th and 3rd places in the two superfinal heats. These consistent results helped Martin climb to the third provisional place in the SX Series classification.

I know Husky has dominated the supermoto racing in EU the last several years, but I just thought it was OK to have weak motors in this type of racing ... Husky has french riders here also so whats the connection to the french and Huskies?

That's awesome news!!! The TC is really a GOOD SX bike, great power & weight ratio. This year's Australian national SX series will also have a TC250 & TC450 in it. Craig Anderson is on the 450 and Matt Ryan on the 250. Craig is one of the best riders in Australia with loads of national wins so it will be an interesting year for Husky too down under. Both riders are racing the complete MX & SX series.
