I believe the 2014 Huskys are going to be 2013 Huskys....
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

KTM guys can bash my Husky all they want, let them live in their own little world. We know something that they don't, and that's fine. I personally haven't witnessed any Husky bashing, my Husky usually draws compliments from people who take notice of it.
I'd consider a new Husky even if it shares some KTM components, it's not like every single component of a KTM motorcycle is inferior to a Husky's. Both have their pluses and minuses. As a complete package KTM probably builds a better bike for the average consumer, that being said I'd still take a Husky over a KTM any day.
Still bummed that they won't be made in Italy anymore. I'm just glad that BMW sold it rather than snuffing it out. I'll keep an open mind and if they make a model that I like, maybe I'll buy one. If they're KTM clones I'm not interested.

It's the general English release. It is on the Husaberg USA site though. TE125 has not been available in USA or Canada. Is this link for the north america/USA market or just in english? The Husaberg te 125 two stroke hasn't been available here at least as far as I could determine.
pierer "brings together what belongs together". well, actually this brings together what is considered his property (husqvarna) with what's known to be ktm property (husaberg). somehow, in the press releases, a part of the story seems to be missing...

Seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors in all this. Talking out of both sides of his mouth. Now the press release in Sweden? WTF? Is he trying to piss of everyone at once with that?
apparently there's an interview in the latest issue of the german "motorrad" magazine, where pierer 's revealing the missing detail: husky will turn a 100% ktm daughter company.pierer "brings together what belongs together". well, actually this brings together what is considered his property (husqvarna) with what's known to be ktm property (husaberg). somehow, in the press releases, a part of the story seems to be missing...

They are just putting the name over the husaberg decals.
my dad in 1988 said:They are just putting the name over the cagiva decals.
The SP way will be to discard everything because he is too in love with his current designs to see any benefit from what husky was doing...

i'm sorry. I literally translated the german term "tochterfirma", the correct translation would be "sub company".
