    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Husky kit number 8539598 (from KTM-PARTS.com) description states the kit comes with the top case (rear rack) mounting bracket as well but without the case. Does your's include the rear rack case mount too, or did you just get a shipment of the cases and side racks? I really love the custom touch of having the Husky logo on these, just gotta save some $$$$ first!

That was part of the hold up ,the case and mount were too much stress for sub frame and is not sold with those parts anywhere now,again one reason they took so long to get here they had to eliminate those parts from the bag kits.We did come up with a way to put OEM rack on with these cases just not to overload it with a big trunk.
 
I can sense, and can anticipate many questions.

I will try to call Bryon at Bills to get the answers and report back. Possibly today if that is ok.
 
OK - more info from the top guy at Bills:

PN: 8540158 side panniers - no top (description may include luggage/bags, not sure)
Includes both cases (Givi TRK33N cases, but through Husqvarna) and mounting hardware.
Inside dimensions? How big of a box can it hold? A - 6" x 12" x 17.5"
These outside dimensions seem about right from the Givi site: 20.7"L x 9.5"W x 16.2"H

PN: 8540158, is the only known OEM luggage that is coming.
Standard monokey quick release. Quickly unlock/lock the box, just as quickly unlock/lock the box from/to the bike
They come with 3 keys
There is no beefy OEM rack coming

The pile on the floor is gone, 1 set avail, 1 more on the way. Then that will probably be it. Call asap if you want them.

(FYI- Givi wants $679 for 2 TRK33N cases, no mounting hardware)

These bags are BEAUTIFUL! And they're all gone...Bryon said there are ten more sets on the way...He said (and I agree) those things are so slick they make me want to buy a bike to put them on.

Sidebag kit 2x 33 ltr including support - 8539598

Sidebag kit each 33 ltr with aluminium panel with pressed Husqvarna logo.

One key fits both sidebags and an eventual top case.
It including the support for sidecases and a eventual topcase (topcase not included)
For TR650 Stada & Terra models

it looks the only kit that includes metalic support for top case.

Hope you can clear things for me. Got the PN 8540190 side luggage husky kit but can't. Figure out how to place the top case rack with this mount. Also got the soft top case PN 8539604 but came with no manual but I suspect a mounting plate is missing. WE REMOVE THE GRAB RAILS ADD A SPACERS AND LONGER ALLEN BOLTS TO THE EXISTING RACK HOLES AND CUT 6.5 MM OFF FRONT MOUNTING BOTTOM SIDE OF RACK TO LEVEL IT OFF AND OEM RACK BOLTS RIGHT BACK ON.ON YOUR OEM RACK THERES A LEDGE /STEP 6.5MM CUT IT OFF EVEN AND DROP SPACERS IN MOUNTING HOLES,WE GET ALL THE STUFF FROM LOCAL ACE HARDWARE.

Hi BILLF, thanks for your reply. Can you give me the measurements of the spacers? Still have a question, does the soft top case should include a mounting plate? I think the one the shop sold me have missing parts. Thanks.
 
About 1/2 in. And no mounting plates came toUSA,they didnt want us adding trunks.
