• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna Australia Enduro Racing Team 2014

He deserves it and will be good as a manager too
Needs a haircut though. Ha
501 is a big change Maybe he is going to do a desert race or two

I wonder if GK will ride the 501 at the enduro X or downsize for that race :excuseme:

Toby Price was riding the wheels off a 350 kato in the 1st round and said that it was well suited.

I think he would be better off on a 350
I doubt there will be an mx team
The Husqvarna website looks like its still in 2013 0 Paul Feeney group must have managed it and don't update it - no new bikes on there
http://www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au/

there is a price list floating around just out of interest
No 125 or 200 Husqvarna

There will be but I just haven't seen an official announcement yet.
Heres the rumour, or should I say Trumour at the bottom of this article...

Husqvarna
The newly KTM owned Husqvarna will field a motocross team in Australia for the first time in years and will use the Craig Anderson Racing team as its main player. Brock Winston will headline the team in the MX1 class, while Dylan Leary will take on the MX2 duties. Kiwi Kayne Lamont is said to have a support ride with the team in Australia as well as his home land in NZ.

I've heard they'll also be running a kid in the MXD class too.

How weird is that it was working. A few hours ago

Now it's official. End of an era.

Yup, end of an era but there'll be plenty of Italian huskies on the second hand market for quite a few years. We better start telling everyone they are utter garbage and lower the price even more ;). Hey, your 165 is crap but i'll do you a favour and give you 1500...

I hope pfg pick up sherco and gas gas because that means demo days will be within driving distance. And maybe they'll see benefit in importing the gasgas 300cc 4T.
Pfg should start a new era and change their name to shed to negative image gained on dbw tho.

I think PFG are very good and I am sad they no longer have husky, People post negative stuff on DBW which if you really find out the truth they were the idiots in the first place and then post negative comments for the next few years . There may be some that disagree...
Good thing is DBW is not known or bothered with by most people
