• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna 2016 helmets

Judging by the seller rating it will arrive, and as the listing states they run small like all of the stuff coming from china these days.

I receive lots of stuff from China like fishing equipment and jewelry. No problem going through customs.

wont be an issue receiving the helmet..stuff ships thru ebay from china all the time a-ok...just likely is not good for more than what you intend...which is a wall hanger. who knows what the actual safety of the thing is..
its frustrating how hard it is finding some of the husqvarna accessories..

there are lots of counterfeit things on ebay..usually when the price is nice, or a quarter of the real thing...kind of throws a red flag..

probably 85% of the helmets sold in the world are made in China (and Taiwan, Korea). Especially your house brands (Troy Lee, Fly, Thor, Fox, Klim, etc).

I'm not saying that there isn't a ton of counterfeiting going on there though. ...and it sure is "weird" how production overages end up on the gray market.

for sure, just weird how cheap this helmet is and ships direct from china..

It's your head, think about that.
I always remember the old 1980s Bell helmet ads. If you have a $5 head, buy a $5 dollar helmet. (or something to that effect).
It's also about supporting the sport and its manufacturers. So buyer beware and choose with care and thought.
Heck like stated above these may be fine and be overstock or slight mark factory seconds from the factory product contract. Or at the opposite end full on cheap fakes that will not give proper protection when needed.
All of this just conjecture and food for thought.

The official Husqvarna MX helmets are made by Airoh (Aviator 2.1) and Scorpion(VX-20 Air)

I don't remember what I paid for mine but it was ridiculous. It came out of the U.K. And took like a month and half to get to me in which time there was a customs problem and on top of that since it took that long I had to intercept the package because I move... Fiasco. I bought a bunch of the gear even before I bought a new husky haha it matched the old bikes and I always wanted husky gear. Would like to get another helmet but probably not image.jpeg
The helmet is a scorpion.. Unsure of model but it's probably the nicest helmet I've ever owned.
