• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky wins Last man standing

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Well at least in my class Last man standing but on by the Prarrie Dogs MC sponsored by Red Bull
I saw Kyle Redman in the first Qualifer along with a few more Husky.Heard Kyle did well in the first round Qualifier but his leg hurt in round 1 one of the extream enduro so he called it a day.Wants to get ready for x games.I left at 5pm just before the last round so I do not know who won it overall

As for my race qualified for row 26 after the first heat. Then in the first round of the extream enduro I was told at the finish that I got 1st 250 Mag A But because I houred out I still get the finish and win but could not go to round 2 Which would be in about 2 hours. As for the Walt Smith Husky 165 what else do I have to do to show this is the bike of choice. At least if you are not a top pro.The little bike made all the hills and the endurocross sections. The club thru everything they had at us
From rock hills to endurocross sections even a water crossing that you had to ride over on a 2x6
board which is 5 1/2 inches wide about 30 feet long . You fall in you are done it was over 3 feet deep.We even went up a latter bridge crossing which had motorcycles tires suspended in the air which you had to ride thru. Then a step hill with a log across the middle of it.You had to jump the log and keep enought speed to make the hill.Fun stuff I am just glad I finished.I have about 4 hours of Video
to edit and post so stay tuned.Plus there were magazine and regular people every where with cameras and video so I am sure there will be lots of coverage. From what I saw and rode this event was just like the extream events you see in Europe. Now we have a real last Man Standing type race here in the USA Best of all it is in So Calif at Glen Helen Raceway park

Sorry guys but 1st and 3rd were from ARIZONA. Taylor Robert (#1) and Max Gerstone (#3). They were not on the correct brand, but both put in a great effort.

Mad Max should be sponsored already (Husky N.A. are you listening?) He was running well at the King of Motos until he gave a part off of his bike to someone else. He's one of the fastest guys racing single track here in Az - he has done very well in extreme enduros and enduro-X - he's light - he'd be great on a 310! And he's a nice kid.

Actually he is sponsored by Beta - here's his LMS race report:

I have a new appreciation of Ajaxauto's result after watching Max describe the course

I will post all of the LD1 loop which is the first hard course after the qualifier tonight. It is 2 hours long
so you can see the complet course, you can scrol thru some sections.I also wrote some foot notes
telling what we did The Walt Smith 165 worked great and it would be my first pick for next year
