• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky wins First District 37 Desert Race for 2012

Husqvarna
Pro Class
With over 300 racers on the line yesterday in Red Mountain Calif for round 1 of the District 37
racing season.Cameron Kearney riding his stock FMF CR 125 with Zip Ty Racing suspention finished
5 Th over all and First in class.Almost every other bike on the line was either a 250 or 450.
The course had a little of everything from wide open valley to tight rocky single track and even a few big hills climbs. The little 125 was pinned wide open for the whole 75 mile race just trying to stay infront of all the bigger bikes.

Hat's off to Ajax junior!!

Robert you should have heard the motor screaming .Maybe a 150 kit is in the future as the little 125 is getting old

make that two. Cameron won the expert 125 class, I won the amatuer 125 class aboard my 125! But dang 5th overall on that course on a 125, pretty dang impressive! congrat cameron for me.

Pretty impressive for a rider to whip all those bigger bikes ... Kearney must have been really kicking some 450 butt in many places to stay in front ....

Its the rider ...I've been whipped too many times by a good rider on lesser equipment than my Husky ...

Update They just posted the unofficial results Where it is posted that this old man got
2nd Mag open expert and 49 th overall out of 325 startered, there were 44 DNFs
Zip Ty Racing just did my suspention and the 300 2 stroke was really working great.
I only counted 5 Husky in the race where the first 4 to finish were 2 strokes .
I did not see any 449/511
