  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Mods I hope this will be fine in this section..Hi guys so I got tons of videos I would like to get up on my Youtube but the quality is not consistent the file size is massive and full 1080p HD have a look at the following video..on the computer it looks awesome and its about a 1 Gig for a 8 minute video!! . Let me know what the quality is for some of you make sure it says HD in the bottom right corner while watching!? Thx

I tried several resolutions. The video quality is poor on all of them. Looks like some fun riding though

From what I'm told, youtube compresses the videos so much the quality is crap. You almost need to set up your own web site, I'm checking into that now.

Ya it runs clean and very strong Im super impressed with that bike and now I have my TE310 running like a TXC310 pretty happy with these years of Husky's :)

hey man good video. looks like good riding. Im also riding a 13 TXC250R... only have like 5 winter hours on it though. but from what i can tell it needed geared down some. it has a full ti-5 pro circuit exhaust mapped correctly and everything but didnt really have the bottom end imo. so im going to try running 12/50 instead of 13/50.. what are you running ? you pretty happy with it? i had problem lofting the front end over logs and trees down when i needed it to come up it really didnt want to. your bike have these problerms ? also i couldnt tell but you running a rekluse by chance ? if so how are you liking that because im actually in the market for a nice used one. i had one of my yz250 before i bought this bike. its my first husqvarna bike.. hoping i like the brand but from what i hear the handling is amazing... and from the hours i have on it seems like its a pretty well planted bike. sorry for the long post but when i bought one of these bikes and started reading about them couldnt really find aton. on the 2013's that is besides dirtrider stating there slow and the pros talkn crap...

I love my TXC250 its a very good bike.. I run 13/50 for the woods seems to be well suited for the single track for what I'm doing at this point in my life anyway! If you have some time one day try the OEM exhaust sometimes the high end exhaust systems flow to well and that takes away from your bottom end!? I see a lot of people throw high end parts hoping for big power and its sometimes quit the opposite there's a thread on this forum somewhere the guy puts some go fast parts on a bigger bike and lost 4 or 5 HP according to his dyno run! As for the front tire lofting that's either to much rebound or someone has stiffer fork springs in the front or your grabbing to much throttle on your obstacles..lol..!? I find the bike so light it loves to wheely so I just adjust my riding style a little. I have a buddy that uses a rekluse and loves it I prefer the bike stock and learn to ride it IMHO the rekluse is just a cheater clutch because your stalling it to much..practice.practice practice...you wont need one I guarantee it, I ride all day without stalling any of my bikes but I have put my time in. Merry X-Mas

Dude that's hilarious good post haha awesome! Were you being serious about the quality or just showing that video!? LOL
Am I missing something? I put up the link to the site some video guys use. USA pro Supermoto uses it for their videos and some others
