• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky TE 150 wins AMA District 37 Desert Hare & Hound Championship for 2021

Well some old guy riding this well prepped TE 150 won the # 1 plate It was a 5 race serious This was against the 86 to 200 Expert class.
So for next year the Husky will have # C 1

Now on to finish out the year with the Sprint Enduros where currently am in second

Also have Last dog Standing extream endure this weekend

Will ride the TE 150 with the same set up I have used all year except for the rear tyre. I got one of the hard to find Goldens 333 in a sticky compound

Thanks Jeremy As some one who has rode the little Husky TE 150 you know just how well it works. I really do not know what else I can do to it

I took it to Last dog Standing with the same set up as I rode it in the Desert to win the # 1 plate in the Hare & Hounds 86 to 200 A Expert class. Only changed the rear tire to the new Golden 333 Sticky. Same overall gearing
Rode the Sprint Enduro on Sat morning. Then at 3pm qualified mid pack after LDS 1. Then Sunday morning did LDS2 and for the first time in 11 years of trying, finished with in the time limit to more on to LDS3. Never did I ever think I would be in LDS 3. Well I started dead last and rode a few miles to a big single track hill. Sat there waiting for like 1 hour waiting for my turn to try. But hour out before I could try.
Over all the Husky TE 150 has proved its self to me. I see no reason for a bigger bike. The bike does work well every where I ride it
Thanks Husky for making a great bike
