As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
I have an FTP server in my house, that runs 24/7. When I need my bandwidth, I restrict the download speed. But, it's up and running 24/7 and there's no BS.2011 workshop manuals are now available, but i need a better file hosting site. If you guys have suggestions let me knowm otherwise i don't have a reliable way of posting the manuals.
I've got the 2009 parts catalogue, and workshop manual. I've modified them by adding hyperlinks to the contents in each so that you can just click to go to the beginning of each section.I'm working with joedirtbike418 to get everything together on my FTP server. Right now, all I have is 630 stuff.
PM sent.I've got the 2009 parts catalogue, and workshop manual. I've modified them by adding hyperlinks to the contents in each so that you can just click to go to the beginning of each section.
In the parts catalogue, you click on the page number in the index of diagrams at the beginning to go to that section. In the workshop manual, you click on the name of the section (eg. Engine Overhauling) and it takes you to the first page in that section. It's just a convenience, but I find it useful and would be happy to share.
If you want them, just send me login info, and I'll upload them to your server. I'm familiar with FTP, so don't need any directions...
I don't have that one. But, if you get one, send me a PM and we can get it added to the mix.hello
