• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky "parts interchange list"?

hawaii-rider

Husqvarna
AA Class
As I begin to place the farkles on my 08 TE610, is there a cross reference sheet for parts and add ons?
Those parts that owners know from readily available big 5 that will fit the Husky?

We had these for Gas Gas and others...made finding replacement parts and add ons really easy.
Bearings
Footpegs etc.

Thanx!

I've never seen a cross reference chart for Huskys. There are a few things that swap.

Rim size and spoke pattern are the same on Husky and KTM for example (although Husky uses stronger rims)

Some of the electronics are also the same on Husky and KTM.

Sherco and Husky share some of the fuel pump parts.

Magura clutch internals are the same as several other bikes-including Harley.

Just throwing out the obvious stuff to get it started.

Awesome...

I am going to check with the bikes I have here at the house...but any idea on cross over on the TE610 footpegs?

also, does the 610SM exhaust also cross over to the TE?

I know...questions, questions, questions...
:excuseme:

Yes the exhaust on the SM and TE are the same so if you are looking at an exhaust system like a Leo Vince and see that they only have a listing for the SM you can rest assured it fit the TE.

te610 never listed in parts, great idea to get a cross reference. even from other husky bike would be very helpful:busted:

Great idea!

Now who is going to go do the research and document what works and what does not....

Anyone?

will KTM SM rims work on a 08 TE610?

Here's a random one, but you never know...it may come in handy!

The cam chain slider bolt from a RC4 KTM (like the 2007 250 XCF-W) fits perfectly in a 2009 TXC 450 (for front slider).
