• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky MX Boots

Valhalla

Husqvarna
AA Class
Husky unveiled new apparel at the Milan show along with the new bikes. The boots look really
cool and I want a pair. Wonder if it will be like pulling teeth to get any of the apparel stateside, like it has been in the past. I wonder if Santa has a inside connection? Sure would like to race downstairs in my jammies and find a pair of new red and black boots with the big H on them under the tree Christmas morning!

Dirt Bike.com had more Milan notes/photos and pictures of the boots at the link below.

Those are sweet!! Wonder if they'll have a supermoto version with replaceable soles..? I'm gonna look into these. Vibram soles are always an option to have a shoe cobbler put on.

Seen them at the Sydney Bike Show. I thought they looked cheap. I will stick to my Sidis in Husky colours

I think they look awesome. I would like some enduro tread on the bottom though. I heard of these awhile back and think they are made by Gaerne.

thers only one boot it has A on it not H even KTM got it right ther boots have A on them and KTM LOL

Cheko 7; please kindly explain what you refering to in your comments above. I am at a loss.

hay ghte jts right im an alpinstars fan had them 4 years thay make a boot for KTM and thay look neat just got KTM on the outside toe in KTM color but i don't ride a KTM and the BIG H on the boots in question don't do it 4 me i like my boots pritty plane blk/white spot on:thumbsup:tech 3s 180bucks i think can't go wrong at that price

I have a pair of those and it does look like thats what it is. Good boots, not cheap.

Are they comfy and do they do a decent job of keeping the water out? My Tech 10s gave up on me. No injuries in them and they were very comfortable, but I do have two permanent scars from the Tech 10s pinching my skin.

Ooooh! Husqvarna boots! I want them....except that I bought a pair of SIDI SRS Crossfires last winter, and I have flipped for those boots! I've worn Alpinestars (hated 'em), Axos (didn't care for those either and they were the KTM model), Fox (wimpy, low protection), No Fear (good cheap boot), Forma, Gaerne (both nice), but nothing compares to the fit and function of the SIDIs. Still....HUSQVARNA boots.

Ok, they just arrived and they're going straight back. They are not exactly Forma Dominator Comps...maybe a lower end Forma? They do not have an inner bootie and the toe box is HUGE. I don't see any way that I will ever feel a shifter in these and my foot freely moves around. They are covered in plastic, so I don't see them breaking in much in the toe area. I also don't like the buckle design. They do have an inner neoprene flap that looks like it would do a good job to keep water out. The boot is pretty comfortable from the ankle up and they seem to run true to size. I'm a 41 in Alpinestars and a 41 in this boot.
