• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky Looks Good In The Nuda

I so want one of those. I'm sure Tim will have the first one in the US and it will be decked out. (like his cool Aprilia)

This is a great looking machine, think my Multistrada is in a we bit of bother now

If I were ever to get a street bike again (and I probably won't), the list of bikes I'd like is two long. Ducati Streetfighter, or the Nuda.

EDIT: Or, maybe a Hypermotard.

The way work has been and the fact I need a 2012 Husky 150, probably screw me. But I WANT one of these to! If I get divorced I'll look for and old cougar (Yuck, I'm 46 so she will have to be 60) Ok OK it will hurt but for one of these I would...............................

ROFL
Funny post. :applause:

Everytime I buy another bike the wife gets a little more bitchy. :D

Am a little surprised how close his feet are to the ground in those fairly mild turns.

Is there a target market for a bike with that much engine and suspension or is it pretty much an urban toy? Showed it to the wife, but the apparent lack of any utility doesn't interest her. Bet it would be a blast to ride around the town, I guess.

These were posted today on facebook (along with others). It's got a windscreen and saddle bags. There's your utility! :D

If that stuff is real, we're going to have another husky! She's going to miss MY street triple:-)

I grabbed it off Husqvarna Italy's facebook page. The pics aren't on the main Husky site or HuskyNA... yet.
