• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Speaking of that coffee.....we like to play "where's Waldo" with Bills coffee cups... he leaves them all over the place....

I wouldnt be surprised if one, or more, of his cups are hidden in those pics ...or maybe one of mine from last weekend :-)

Husky Heaven - that's just mean. I've been wanting a new bike for a while now. But,........you know, there are numerous reasons as to why not :)

I was at Bills a few weeks ago, I had to install a prophylactic before going inside. Awesome shop / work Bill :notworthy:

See ya next weekend

Only been in there a few times, don't think I have been to the new shop.
Looks like a lot more bikes than used to have in stock
Been wanting to stop in again, just to drool on some of the new bikes

Holy smokes thats a lot of Husky in one spot. Thats enough to make a KTM shamefully shed its orange plastic if it were to come through the door!

main differences between the txc and te models this year?
Mostly the suspension,TXC has twin chamber KYB with stiffer settings front and rear, also TXc has no cat or o2 sensor from the factory set up to race.Te full street legal lighting ,open chamber KYb forks and 40t & 50t sprockets and chain come with the Te.They both run about the same when set up identical. The Te forks are actually really plush in the woods and most guys like that. For Mx & and race pace TXC has its place. The one thing is most all street legal bikes bring $1000 more resale on average if you like to trade bikes every year or two.
