  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky hard parts triple clamps

Anyone have the part #'s for the Husqvarna hard parts triple clamps? They are the black anodized ones with a 2 bolt top clamp and 3 bolt bottom. Im looking for the part # to the 15mm offset ones for 50mm Marzocchi forks.

thanks

Those only work with the KYB forks; 8000H2699.

8000H1089 is the 15mm offset SMR clamps for the Zooks, but they look like the stock clamps.

Oh, that would be why I didnt find any then. Thanks for that info.
I was looking to see if there were any other alternatives to the Ferracci clamps readily available in the US.

Did you try BRP?

they dont make a complete set.
I really wish Applied Racing made some, I had a set on my YZ450F and they were very nice and fully adjustable.

You could always ask them to :D

are you going to go with the factory hard parts 15mm clamps?

well the ones for the SMR look like the exact ones I already have.
Does BRP or Applied custom make stuff?

They will look the same, but the offset will be the 15mm like it says rather than your stock (18mm?) offset..

Not sure if those guys do custom stuff. If you dont know, just ask. The worst thing you'll hear is no... Shoot em an email. Check with ferracci too. I have bought used triples from him in the past. Maybe he has some new or used 5mm clamps sitting around.

I have the Husky Hard parts triple clamps for 48mm KYB's and have to say they are really nice. They used to belong to Blake on here. I am still not sure what the stock off set is for a 2010 TXC 250. I did try 1 step smaller offset than stock and had no issue with head shake or messing up the handling of the bike. FBF has been selling some of there stuff off so you may want to contact them and see what they would do. Make them a offer.
