  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc Husky Graphics

richgilb-Go for it, all it takes is money:o . Please post pics as you go so we can all enjoy it. I've got a few updates planned for mine, Motorsportz steering damper/ EE aluminum radiator guards for this season. After the season, red powder coat on the frame, black UFO plastic/red graphics and a 165 kit, hopefully.

Will do!

In the meantime I have learnt about the history of the bike. It is an ex race bike prepared by this company: http://www.mps-racing.co.uk/husqvarna-news-article.aspx?itemid=14760

They made a set of these tanks for their race team to compete in European enduros, as the standard tank at that time was too small. This tank holds 2 more litres.

Previous owner says the company does not really deal with consumers and leisure riders so it is unlikely they will be interested in dealing with is. But I have sent an email

Hey guys, I have a 2009 WR300 that's ready for some new graphics. For those familiar with DeCal Works, which shade of red is the closest match to the factory rad shrouds, "CR Red" or "Dark Ruby Red"? Thanks!

Just kitted my 2011 CR150 with a design from www.scrubdesignz.com. Has totally transformed the bike & was perfect fit. Check these guys out! Had a few kits off them over the years & the material & fit is always spot on. They did this one for me as a custom but have it on file now so available to all.
