• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky Book- Husqvarna Success

Husqvarna
C Class
I went to a book signing in Riverside, Ca at Malcolm Smiths shop. This was my first book signing event. I met the author Gunnar Lindstrom. This book is a beautiful hardbound history of Husqvarna motorcycles. While there Gunnar and Malcolm signed the book for me. You can find the book at Malcolms or on the web. Also, Gunnar had a great pair of Husqvarna shoes from Italy. We both agreed our retailers in the US need better product support.

I know Malcolm has some books left and they are signed. No price increase for signed books.

Thank you for posting this.... I've been looking all over for this book through the usual books stores and amazon.. no luck... Just ordered it through Malcom's.

Got pictures of the shoes? thatd be cool to see

We do need better support! I hear this is supposed to be addressed with more parts being stocked in the US, In a few months (First of the next quarter..?) something like that

The book is available from:

GT Motors
816 E. Howe Avenue
Lansing MI, 48906

The owner of that company was at the dealers meeting in Ohio, along with Gunner, and a large amount of amazing people.

understand the book is close to being sold out. don't know if there will be a second printing. autobooks- aerobooks in burbank will have them next week.

I stopped at Malcolm`s shop yesterday on the way to Supercross and he was out.

I ordered a copy and the girl at the counter said it would be in by friday.

She even asked me how i would like it signed.

I picked up a copy today, signed by Gunnar and Malcolm. They had quite a few in stock behind the counter, you have to ask for them. She said they sold a lot of them when they were on the floor, but too many were getting messed up.
