• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husky 630 Clutch Discs

Husky95

Husqvarna
C Class
Hi everyone! I opened this thread to know if someone could tell me where I can buy clutch discs for my TE 630 (in Europe). I've only found the OEM parts at Italhusky but they are quite expensive (170 €). Also, are they the same of Husqvarna 610 ?

Thank you very much!

They should be the same, try crossreferencing part numbers.
I happened to have the parts fiche, they are the same as 2006 te-sm 610:
8000 51148 Driven disc
8000 99521 Driving disc

It should be safe to assume that they'd fit. Newfren makes decent aftermarket clutch discs, about 90 euros the whole pack I think

Another question on the TE 630 clutch discs: does anyone know if the SWM 650/ SUPERDUAL clutch discs fits on Husqvarna 630? I think so as they have the same engine but the parts numbers don't coincide (Husqvarna: 8000A5259, SWM: 8000A9764).
Thank you very much!

Swm and husky part numbers won't match, even if the part is identical.
It would be a fair assumption the the clutch plates will fit, but you can only be sure by actually inspecting them.

Yes, i think you're right, maybe i'll write directly to SWM company to eventually verify the compatibility of the swm parts on husqvarna.

to save something you could only take the garnished disks
the kit is the ADIGE HU51

Thanks! I'm searching some alternatives to the OEM parts because they're very expensive in my opinion (at Italhusky.com the clutch discs set is about 180 euro) but i have problems to find aftermarket products for the TE 630...
