• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husaberg Foot Pegs Fit The 630, Nice And Wide

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hello all

Just wanted to share with the group. I had a set of foot pegs laying around off my 2010 FE570 and wondered if they would fit on the 630. The 630 foot pegs are just to narrow to stand on for very long.
Anyway all you got to do is gring them down a little bid as they are a touch too wide to fit in the bracket. They look great and are heck of allot wider than the stockers.
BTW Husaberg foot pegs are the same as all the late model KTM bikes

Huge improvement and work awesome****************************************
Thanks

so do the TE510 footpegs without any modifications at all..

at least I can tell you that the Roc-Stompa pegs did, however I would assume other 510 pegs would also fit fine without any necessary modifications.

Something I forgot is that the tab on the right peg mount requires a reduction in height to not interfere with folding. This is required regardless of the aftermarket pegs installed from what I've been told. You just need to cut it to the height of the tab on the left side.

I just ordered up a pair of 510 pegs.

EDIT: Scratch that. I was under the impression that the above pictured black pegs were 510 pegs. I guess not!

If you are referring to my black Roc Stompa pegs.. yes they are 510 pegs. I took them off my 510 before selling it and bolted them right on the 630 without any modifications to the pegs.

I'm pretty sure about any Husky (modern) foot peg will fit. I just swapped in the stock pegs off my '09 WR125. Perfect fit. I run Pivot Pegz on the WR and am tempted to swap them to the SM630 when I'm not out playing in the dirt.

Tell us about your 'berg - did you keep it or replace it with the 630, and why.

any standard footpeg should work. Might have to grind some of the post down to slide it in the opening but should work.

here are the photos of the pegs on my TE510 before I sold it and installed them on my 630

I installed the 510 footpegs tonight. The right one required a tiny bit of grinding to make it fit. Just a hair off of one side of the peg.

When I went to install the left, it fit right in. It kind of makes me wonder if I should have spread the mount apart a little on the right side instead of grinding the peg. Oh well. :)

They have three rows of teeth instead of two. They're also wider (front to back). I think they'll do just fine for me.
