• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

buggered if I know but when I click on your link or google it it just comes up as 'oops! internet explorer cannot find this site'(or some crap like that)??? anyway thanks for the other link mate:cheers:

Save yourself some money. None of the FMF mufflers cost 500.00 bucks at Revzilla.com.

Check for a their complete FMF system's at Revzilla.com. $809.00 to $859.00. I see you are in Western Australia. These are U.S. Dollar prices.

Even buying the headpipe and mufflers individually. For instance the FMF Powercore muffler/silencer alone is listed for your 2013 FE 350 Husaberg at $296.95. Not 329.00.

Complete systems whether S/S or Titanium are listed as follows.

S/S Mega bomb headpipe for the same bike is $382.45 buying it separately.
Titanium Mega bomb headpipe is $449.95 buying it separately.

All styles of FMF Mufflers available for the 2013 FE Husaberg also, All 5 styles of their 4.1 RCT Mufflers prices are below.

Stainless midpipe/ Aluminum muffler body/ and Carbon fiber end cap is listed at $359.95

Full Titanium Headpipe/Muffler body/ and end cap is listed at $404.95

Titanium midpipe/ Blue Titanium Muffler body/ Carbon Fiber end cap is listed at $449.95

Stainless Steel midpipe / Aluminum Body/ Stainless Steel end cap is listed at $337.45

Titanium midpipe/ Blue Titanium Muffler body/ Titanium end cap is listed at $404.95

By the way if you find it cheaper anywhere else they will match the price or beat it.

Oh! and you earn Zilla cash back rewards bucks that you can redeem on your next purchase. Can't beat it.

The cheapest FMF power core muffler alone here at Revzilla is a savings of 30.00 alone.

Take a look, I got my S/S headpipe for my 2015 FE 501 here in the states in a few days.

I got my S/S 4.1 RCT Muffler though at the Husqvarna dealership and paid about $342.00,(FMF lists it for $379.00) just because I wanted the "Husqvarna Powerparts" label on it so it would look like it was stock.

Just incase I get pulled over by the Police heading to the trails.

I never even started the bike with the stock exhaust. Its hanging from the rafters in my garage.

I have the larger core Spark arrestor in it though from one of the other version mufflers and then I can slip in the tapered quiet insert if I'm up in the forestry areas and they give me any hell. Either way its legal and saving cash is good.

Didn't see any substantial reason to go with a Titanium system as the total weight savings is negligible by the time I start adding thing to the bike anyway. It's about 3 tenths of a pound difference in weight So I saw no point.

I have owned Tig welders since 1977 and if I damage the headpipe in any way. I can buy a replacement S/S Mandrel U-bend from one of my header component suppliers to repair it for like less than $35.00 bucks.

Try finding Titanium mandrel U bends with out buying a whole truck load from Russia or AliBaba.com. To fix a smashed Titanium headpipe you won't find too many places that sell Mandrel Titanium U bends. You will be better off buying a new one. Trust me.

haha was just checking out revzilla last night. yeh the basic powercore all he wants. more for aesthetics than performance i think;) nice work big timmy:cheers:

revzilla wont ship powercore to AUS due to export restrictions(?). guess AUS fmf distributor has a deal with em or something?!
