• 4 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Austria - About 2014 & Newer
    FE = 4st Enduro & FC = 4st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

FE/FC How high will prices go, and will we pay it?

your kids big enough to ride to ride a IT 200 and he's just gettin on a bike what up with that:excuseme:

He's my adopted son, so he's starting out late. But he's a 20 YO Marine, and he's ridden quads in the past. Should be just a matter of a few rides before I've got him hooked.:banana:

The one thing I find strange about the beta is asfar as I know the two strokes all have electric start and you have to remove it to save the weight. They should offer a version for $500,less with no estart for stubborn old guys like myself! Was very very close to going beta and almost walked away from my deposit. But the crown is the crown. Chapter one two or even three

On a serious note this is probably the last new current bike i will probably buy a carryover or a slightly uses bike next time. Gas gas buyers keep in mind a 2015 gas gas is five pounds lighter then a 14!

Beta build a bike.
Ya the problem with that, at least for me is that for example, choosing different front fork springs you pay about $115 extra and they keep the stock springs.. That might be a good deal in some people's mind but since I can do all the work myself and buy the same springs for $90 and I will have the stock springs to sell on ebay It's like I have to buy 2 sets of springs to get what I want. I've had a Beta trials bike and the build quality was excellent. I really wanted to like the Beta but in reality it's made for a shorter rider or someone like Cody Webb with bionic legs that doesn't mind doing a full squat deep knee bend every time he goes from sitting to standing. Build a bike is a step in the right direction but I'd be much happier if they offered a bike already set up for three different weights like 160 lbs 185 lbs and 210 lbs and they all cost the same amount. I did the build a bike on their website and chose all the things I wanted and added $1,000 to an already very expensive bike. So far with my Husky I've sold all the pull off parts except the 4.5 50mm Zoke springs and the TMX carb which I may put back on before I sell it and take the Lectron with me to use on the next bike.

I'm riding a 7 year old bike with fresh bodywork to make me feel good. My son's TCX250 is a nicer bike than mine and we got it used just recently. You mentioned a word I didn't understand, new? What's that?

Lets get back into how my te511 was 6500$ to my door.

Of course, no warranty :P

Its not too late :)

Decades back, when I was a grasshopper, I was driven into the U.S. Army. Made about ~8K the first yr defending the free world. Selfless service to the MAX pretty much ... I actually took a pay cut from my farm work. Got myself an education during my peace-time tour. Got myself a couple of good paying jobs afterwards. Got something else but can't remember what it is....... Now I remember, a good time. I got a good time, daily, and some Husqvarna 250cc dirt bikes of my choice also.

This is not a newsflash, but prices go up through time. Prices can go down but I'll bet you will not like that either. Your future has just been given. Now what you gonna do?

Yep, I'm going on my 4th year with the TE and still have stuff to do to it. I figure by the end of this year I'll finally have it all dialed the way I like. My restored IT is doing a GREAT job teaching my wife and my son just rode a dirt bike for the first time ever a week ago thanks to the ol girl

That 449/511 that is set up just for me and paid-for really looks good. A new bike won't really make me a better rider - I pretty much now know what will put me on the ground with the old girl. I looked at the new TE501 the other day, over $11K at a dealer. Wow!

-Rip off- but they will charge what people are willing to pay.

Most of us dont need the newest bike, unless you have that much to waste. I bought the 310 new, I could afford it at the time but in hindsight I would not buy a new off road bike new again. They devalue by 25% as soon as you wheel them off the floor, if you want a warranty then servicing at a dealer will set you back at least another $1000 over 12 months. I am fast on it but dont use it to its potential, if I work on it im nearly as fast on my 17 year old WR200, its also easier to fix and seems to break less.

mate got a price on a 15 fe350 today which i'm pretty sure he will buy, $14800 on road with fmf pipe and $500 store credit.
Found him a 14 model with 500km on it for 12k but he wants new.....

14,800 DOLLARS :lol::censored: THAT

It comes with a truck and trailer I think...:lol:
Dealer I got mine from has a left over 2014 KTM 350 EXC for $7700. Not sure where you (Bowser) are from but if you're stateside I could get you the info if you like.
