As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Alessi is on a Honda this year. I couldnt see the uphill hill from where I was standing, but I expected Dungey to reel Alessi in on the finish line whoops as he usually smokes everyone there, but he wasnt really making much progress on that stretch either. The KTM seems well set up, but is about even on power at best. Was it me or did anyone else think that Dungey's KTM was getting owned by Alessi's Suzuki on the long uphill sections?
Suzuki, Honda, who really cares. lol I gave up my argument pretty easy, however if there was a 2 stroke Husky in the mix I might get my back up a bit.The 450 class needs to have the 250 guys step up and get on the 450s ...

That's why he's called The GOAT!I saw RC race there ... The same yr he crashed over that jump in the center of the field ... He was the only guy, stew included, that took different lines over that jump (HP Hill) ... He also took different lines down the finish line rhythm section also where everyone else rode the same line... He was 100% the best rider on the course ..
Kinda wish RC would've started riding XC, GNCC's or somethin' on two wheels instead of racecars! That's why he's called The GOAT!![]()
For sure!!! Send up Barcia, Baggett, Tomac, even Roczen. That would shake up the class. There are many talented riders that would make the 250's interesting without the top runners. But hey, they are going after a championship, so it will never happen, unless one guy really can't make top 3, then maybe they would send him up!The 450 class needs to have the 250 guys step up and get on the 450s ...
