• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Migrating over from the left kicker section to start a thread on our latest impulse buy. They had a buy one get one free at our local shop so I figured what the heck

The stock jetting sucks at sea level, feels like it's running below the sea. We might have to think about lowering the wife's 150 but she's game to try it as is for now.

Both bikes are plated and just kidding on the buy one get one free :)

Some people just can't leave things well enough alone- I went and bought black plastics for mine. Why? Well I blame Johnny Cash. It'll be nice to have the originals stored in a box.
One thing I didn't consider is the cost to outfit both bikes with pipe guards, hand guards, skid plates, jets, spark arrestors, mirrors, license plate holders, temp gauges, linkage guards etc. etc. It's adding up fast when there's two! Swapping the plastics out made me realize just how tidy KTM engineered the chassis.

Ok got the JD jetting in both bikes & power valve springs changed. New pipe guards, skid plate, linkage guard, and hand guards installed. Modded the air boxes too. Taking them out for the first real ride tomorrow! 8E0303E3-2D97-4402-AE6F-EBE3FCCE1214.jpeg

For what it is worth I have a 2017 TC 125 which came with a Mikiuni carb I purchased a Kehien carb from zip Ty Racing with the Jd kit installed

The bike runs perfect every where

Rd 1 of the National at Red Mt about 3,500 feet
Rd 2 of the National in El Centro below sea level yes below
Rd 3 texas did not go
Rd 4 of the national in Utha start about 3500 feet then up over 6500

All 3 races same set up did not change a thing between races
I posted a video from el centro below sea level
also posted one from Utha

The motor runs great and sounds great at both location with the same carb setting

Bykas bar shocks & Bulletproof radiator guards mounted up. First impression of the bar shocks was very comfortable rise with very good absorption. Bulletproof rad guards are really sweet. 30CA4FA6-B3B4-4B5E-B0DB-69488780DD90.jpeg 8659773F-92D1-4C19-823A-EA098181967D.jpeg
