• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hillclimbs......Some luv em, Some hate em****************************************

Ha nice video! Those ruts looked hard packed!

Although...it really looks dry for a heap of rain, that looks like end of summer riding in the Pacific Northwest. :D:D:D

That was a great vid!
Sounds like me filming my friends minus the cool accent
"20 seconds, 25, 30. Jesus Christ mate!
Go. What are you waiting for geezer?"

And good choice of tunes!
My good friend is real close to the guys in DRI. Has even filled in on vocals for Kurt Brect one night in Kansas City.

Footage was taken in the Adelaide hills on a well ridden location. If your ever over here PM me and we will ride!

I have been a huge fan of DRI for the last......jezus...15 or 20 years.....Bloody hell Im old!! Those guys would have to be a lot of fun to hang with. Big in Australia back in the Early 90's Sk8 scene. 4 of a kind is my Fav!!

I know what you mean but South Oz is the Dryest state in the Dryest continent on earth. 5mm is a heap of rain. The ground is clay like artists use for sculptures so any moisture and we slip and slide! Love to see some action from where you live!

That looks like fun!

You Aussie's ever thought of standing up and keeping your feet on the pegs....just kidding, no seriously...just kidding,

I take it there's no room to get a run at the first hill? A little momentum would help a lot. :)

Your totaly right there mate. A few bike lengths with a 2 foot hump in the middle. About a 1 foot path up the middle with wet roots jutting out. Heaps of fun and to slow to get really hurt. Just a few scratched plastics.

Here's a clip I filmed yesterday for the hillclimb lovers.

And I've made my final opinion about e-start on 2 strokes. I WANT IT****************************************!
Sliding backwards down a mtn trying to kick 'ol stumpy' isn't much fun :professor:

That looks like some great riding, I would love to try there...
I hope to go to Colorado this September, it will add something to my portfolio!
