• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

This is a video of me on the 3 cool MXGP tracks. I am a trail rider so I was slow at first but picked up the pace after a few laps.

This is the main loop which is fast and a blast!

Trail 14 is hard and listed as a 5 diamond

This was my first trip to Highland Park and I have to say they do it right! Loved it all!
One way trails, great food, great people, well marked trails, trails are in great shape, MXGP tracks are well groomed and nothing but singles and table tops!
I can't wait to go back! We here in GA are lucky to have this place!
FUN!

Water racer, it is worth the trip. I am more of a 3 - 4 diamond type so it being my first time to ride at HP I was OK with one 5 diamond and 5 is the most difficult at HP. I know in TN there are more difficult tial type trails with crazy rocks like Mike Brown was hitting in the Tennessee Knockout. HP is more roots and off camber hills than rock gardens.

Here trail 13 a 5 diamond and they call it 13 for a reason!

Looks pretty cool having all that riding in one location ....

That track is too fast for me ... I'd like to ride it at my own pace and practice those jumps takeoffs and landing .... but not with too many flying past my slow tail ... Those step-downs looked a little spooky to me ... I'm more of a step-up guy on tracks ....

Those look like our average trails but throw in a few rocks. That off camber stuff would be tricky on a wet day.
Need to get some guys together and come down.

I was there also, passed you on the loop road by the first bridge. I ride HP couple times a month during hunting season, then stick to my outlaw riding the rest of the year.

A.Brenton I think I saw you on a TXC445?

This is map of the place! You can't get one from the webpage because they change it so often. I scanned it in.

Do a YouTube search on Highland Park and you'll find a ton of single track clips... I live and hour away and can confirm that the 5-6 diamond trails are great. Well marked, well groomed and all one way. It's one long day of riding or two days if you have time and want to camp or rent a cabin. HP pretty much has everything you'll need.
