The 360 I have (2000) is pretty much the same bike as that and the one Kelly bought. They have made some slight updates between that and 2000 but nothing really major and the zoke 45's have to be seriously revalved to be as good as the showa's. They made minor changes to the swingarm/rear brake mostly but that is not a huge deal. They really are a nice all around trail bike. They aren't the best for 2-5mph sh*t holes but work great everywhere else. I almost left mine for salvage(I'm kidding) on a 3 hour trec to cover 4 miles of absolute hell summer before last. It just has a little too much off idle for that kind of crap. So the take home is it doesn't make a good trials bike, certainly not geared for a ~90 mph top speed.
Anyway great platform no matter what year. I still like the slim eurgos on the 2000-04 style like yours too
I have installed the 38mm airstriker before and while a little crisper on the bottom, it really didn't want to run in the mid/top like the 39. The crisper bottom really isn't what you want.
The stock TM carb will probably work fine at lower elevations but like the TMX, I just couldn't get it to work well on the bottom/idle at higher elevations. As you know I have the EFM auto clutch on mine and with it you will never pull that stiff clutch, ever. It probably really doens't need the auto as you can't stall this motor. You have ridden mine and that is what I have done to make it the pussy cat that it is. I also have the auto decomp head, not a necessity. One thing that I really like about it is that you can bump start the bike off an ant hill.

What do I do now
