• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Herlings will NOT be racing Unadilla....

A possible MX2 championship for a WHT Husky with Febvre ?????..........................or Tixier on the ORG Husky

I like the way you think....though Herlings would have had this thing wrapped up if he hadnt missed races earlier. But ya gotta ride to finish to win !

[Update: 4:26 Eastern] KTM has confirmed that Red Bull KTM's Jeffrey Herlings suffered a broken femur Monday during a crash at Everts and Friends Charity Race. Herlings has already undergone surgery. Below is the official PR from KTM.
KTM Racing has confirmed that Red Bull KTM factory rider Jeffrey Herlings has sustained a fractured femur during a crash at the Everts and Friends Charity Race in Genk, Belgium on Monday.

Jeffrey was competing in an 85 cc race at the annual charity event hosted by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MX2 team manager and 10-time world champion Stefan Everts.

Jeffrey sustained a clean fracture of the femur and was operated on by Dr. Driessen at the Zol Hospital in Genk on Monday evening. Dr. Driessen inserted a pin to secure the fracture in his left leg and the medical staff have advised that the operation was completely successful. They expect him to be in hospital for about three days.

Pit Beirer, Head of KTM Motorsport said Jeffrey’s job was now to rest and recuperate. “Jeffery is young and very fit and while we are all sorry that he has had this bad luck, we’re confident that he will come back and be as strong as he has already shown us he can be. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to having him back on the bike when he is fit and well.”

The GP is much more entertaining now. Not that I'm happy he's out - I'm certainly not. We're now seeing some battling out there for 1's and 2's which we weren't seeing before.

Major bummer. I was really looking forward to seeing how he would match up against the riders in our series.
me too !! I was hoping to see how he did he hauls and never slows down no matter what lead he has he just keeps it pinned until the race is over.
