As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
YesI think 102 is rich with the PU plug . Maybe
Yes i'll testing with ibeat, i have the airbox open, is it no dangerous the low range at 100 ?
Thanks rotax, i , ll testing, but since one week paris is on the snow
Hello dyno, i have
102 / 108 / 118
And 1800 rpm idle ( iridium spark plug)
The difference between 100 and 102 is not going to make the bike hard to start.
We have to remember that the ECUs for Euro bikes are a different part number then US bikes. They may want completely different iBeat numbers, I have no way of telling you guys for sure (unless someone sends me their ecu to put on my bike and dyno).
I'd recommend trying 90 to 110 on the low setting and see if one direction does better.
I'm not sure what you mean by "idle screw is too loosened". 1800rpm is normal idle.
.
so do you feel satisfied?thanks guys, tody i was 8° on my garage, and my bike with ibeat say 10° on the sensor water temp, same things for the sensor of air temp.
After, i have change the setting for 100/108/118 and with starter lever strong drawn, its starting ok. but i'm not outdoor with 0°. It's still better.
