• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Help! Stolen TE 630

Geez Eric, I don't know that I'd get that excited!

You wouldn't...and I'm not either...just wanted to prop the guy up for making a go of it through a rough time, as opposed to just making snarky comments. :)

I
My bike has just been stolen from outside my house in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Please keep an eye out. Thanks.
I, too, feel your pain (some of it, at least.) May the creep/s receive some good ol' 19th century American horsethief justice. And may YOU be enjoying a Husqy again, soon.

2 months have past and I still haven't received the parts...aaaarrrgghhhhh****************************************!!! Never buying anything Italian ever again!!

Can imagine that once it´s been stolen it would seem sullied to me. Have always wondered why the UK has become a thieve´s paradise but still don´t know the answer to the problem. Living in Germany, I legally own (and am a demon with) a Luger pistol. I live in a very mixed neighbourhood and even my granny could climb in at night and I would be delighted to meet an uninvited visitor. Have been waiting for over twenty years but have not yet had the pleasure.10.jpg

We got it running today with a solenoid bodge. Couldn't wait any longer. Should be back on the road later this week. Just need to get my hands on a ignition barrel. They seem to be hard to get hold of.

Glad its running again.

Its concerning to hear that some parts are hard to get hold of. I'm hoping to hold onto my 610 for a while, but that depends on parts being available.
