I'm seeking advice on how to remove a piece of bamboo skewer sitting on top of my piston.
I had a bamboo skewer (1mm thick) in my spark plug hole to see TDC and managed to snap it, leaving the broken bit (?5cmx1mm) sitting on top of the piston.
Short of buying a $140 camera scope, I was thinking of turning it over until the intake valves are open & attempting to suck it out with a vacuum cleaner. Alternatively, might there be a chance it will just burn up when it runs with minimal damage? Fingers crossed I don't have to pull the head off!
Thanks in advance.
