  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have a 2013 Husky TE511 in pristine condition. I may consider selling it as I never use it. It was 300 miles and 295 are on the street. I am unable to find any te511 for sale and was wondering where the market maybe or if there is even one! I have some extras added such as fmf pipe, zipty catch can gas cap and other misc, motosportz brake protectors, flush turn signals and prob other things I am forgetting. I wanted to see what you guys would reccomend. It has always been garaged, and I am basically looking to make space! Thanks a ton

Bike prices are high at the moment, I have the same bike and absolutely love it and would not let it go for any less than $4500.
Your bike looks like it's next to new condition, start high and you can always go down from there.

Market and prices will differ based on location. There was a 511 that was posted not too long ago in the classifieds for 5500, real nice goodies on it. I don’t know the demand in Texas, but here in Southern California I posted my 2013 TE449 with 1400 miles and received multiple offers for 5,000. Decided to keep it though because at that price, I’m going to have to pay almost double to replace my bike with a newer one.
