  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

ok well i took my exhaust off my 2012 husqvarna tc 250 to fix the dent that is in it. so i took the rivets out but it is brutally hard to get appart... any one know any tips or have any ideas of how i can get it appart... i have one side off atm but the other side is stuck in pretty well. ???? any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it an Akropovic pipe?
I've only pulled apart my stock te pipe which is a little different so I'm guessing here...
If you have the header end off... can you pull all the packing out and get to the inside of the cap to tap it out?

it is an akropovic yes here is a pic to show ya, but i have removed the packing... but how do i tap it out? do i stick a pipe in there?1380406205743.jpg

Ouch.

Getting the end cap off might be easier than fixing the can!

Use something soft like a long bit of wood.

ok i tried that and it worked thanks... :D, but now when i put it on how would i do that im pretty shur it will also be pretty snug?:0

tap it back in with a soft hammer.

The real question is... how the hell are you going to straighten that can!?

wo
The hardest part was re-riveting with 5mm stainless steel rivets. Needed brute force and I broke my rivet gun. Maybe I should have used aluminium rivets...
wow... but my problem now is i cant get it together its like its stuck almost? any ideas?
